I am posting this to the R2 newsgroup on the basis that those likely
to be able to help have probably migrated to R2 by now (speaking for
myself anyway).

I have been listening to some of the 40th birthday celebrations of the
start of R1/R2. What struck me is that the sound on FM seems to have
a lot more bass than I remember (on VHF that is - 247m was very
different) and also seems a bit distorted.

throughout the working day... something just occurred to me: why is it that
Steve Wright never, ever chats to the presenter in the link immediately
prior to his show (usually Vine) or following it (usually Evans)? Wogan
