OT The Austerity Olympics
Sun, 15 Jun 2008 18:39:05 +0100
I heard this prog earlier in the week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The
contrast between a games organised on a shoestring and the bloated monster
it's become was quite stark. I can't help thinking that the 1948 games came
far closer to the Olympic ideal than the 2012 version will.
But, hearing a snatch again on ...

Ask EU: Yahoo! groups.
Sun, 15 Jun 2008 13:26:05 +0100
I am subscribed to three admittedly dorky Yahoo groups, but as of eight days
ago I can't receive email from them. My account is set to send email, and it
isn't bouncing. It may be no coincidence that eight days ago I installed
IE7. I didn't like it and went back to Deepnet, but remain suspicious. For
once, Goo ...

Wot No Friday Podcast?
Sun, 15 Jun 2008 13:24:50 +0100
Haven't yet received Friday's podcast so I went to Listen Again.
The episode there is not from Friday 13 June - it's the episode where
Usha confronts Shula at the stables from weeks ago.
Just tried the omnibus and that is even older - a quick listen to a
bit of it and it was all about Will burying that bird we ...
