Mounting a plasma screen in a recess.

Quite a lot of people are now mounting plasma screens recessed into the wall
(or false chimney breast) so front of display is flat with wall. Also hides
cables which SWMBO's will approve.
However what type of plasma bracket do they use ?
I assume it must be a "concertina" type bracket to enable the screen to ...

Monitor or TV?

I don't need to replace it yet but if one wanted to replace a CRT TV that is
currently getting input from a media PC, a separate Freeview box, a VCR and
a DVD. Should I be looking at monitors or TVs? I don't need MASSIVE as I
have a projector for that.
I find the current (28"ish) TV to have too low a resolution ...

Adding Stereo system to home cinema

I have set up my home cinema (LG LH-CX245) with no problems to
incorporate my tv and Sky+ - all works OK. I want to add my little
Panasonic stereo to it and have tried to connect with phono leads from
the stereo to the home cinema unit - but no sounds come out - any
ideas why? Thanks ...

Scart switching

Just plugged in a Sony HDD/DVD Freeview machine into an analogue TV
using a fully wired scart cable. Sony is on Channel 0 - AV input, and
normal anologue TV channel on other channels. Sony is now taking
charge of TV and only shows Sony RGB output irrespective of channel
selected on TV.

Had the tv set about 4 years now. Had a power cut the other day, now
the tv will randomly switch off to standby, then led will flash red
and try to turn back on again...
anyone have any ideas as to what it can be? ...
