Sony Bravia KDL-20S2030 - our first impression and a slight 'hum' problem

We've just acquired a Sony Bravia KDL-20S2030 for the bedroom. It's
our first LCD digital TV - so we've nothing to compare it with. We
bought this set because it was the right size with all the features we
wanted, namely: two SCARTS, component video sockets, composite/S-video
inputs, HDMI/VGA interfaces, Freevie ...

Transported plasma flat

I transported my Panasonic TH42PX60U for about 5 miles. I've unboxed it
and do not see any visual cracks in the outer glass. The sales guy told
me the only thing to worry about were the internal gases not settling
correctly and to not turn it on for 24 hours.
If the glass didn't break, should I be worrying abo ...

Component cable - is it worth it

I have bought a cheap 19" lcd tv for the conservatory and a Toshiba DVD
player. Both have component input / output. Currently I have the dvd
player connected to the tv with scart (RGB) and the quality of the picture
is very good. Is it worth buying a set of component leads, will it makes a
noticeable diff ...

DVD player through NTL box problem

Just got Pace NTL cable box. Wharfedale 750S DVD player connected
through top (video) SCART. But only the DVD sound plays through the
NTL box. No vision. Been trying to find an 'AV' channel on the NTL
box. But to no avail. Any ideas? TIA ...

Hi,
I've just got a second hand ps-42p2st plasma, but the front panel
buttons are locked. I have the remote, but when I go into the menu i
cannot move around using the joystick on the remote. It appears to be
working as the light is flashing when I move the joystick.

I notice that all of the kit I have these days, PS2, DVD player, MCE
machine, Showcenter and Sky+ box all have digital outputs, yet the amp
I use has mainly analogue inputs and only two digital inputs - one
coax and one optical, so I have to juggle connections quite a lot. Are
there amplifiers where this situa ...
