Full HD Projector or not?

Hi all,
just reading through the spec for my Hitachi PJ-T300 Projector to see
if it gives full HD or not (1080i).
'Optical - Resolution' states: 1280 dots x 720 lines
'Video Compatibility' states: HDTV:750p(720p@50/60Hz), 1125i
(1080i@50/60Hz)
Does this mean I have full HD at 1080i or not??

This is probably the subject of many posts right now but I haven't had
time to search so I'll post my own!.
I've got Cambridge Audio Azur Amp and an Hitachi PJ-TX300 projector.
Sadly because of lack of research on my part the projector isn't full
HD (1080) but it is 780 ish.
Nor is my Samsung TV (again 720-750 ...

I have decided (I think) to say adios to my Sony 32" Trinitron KV-32FQ75 and

Has anyone compared the picture quality between a 720p picture and a
1080i picture?
Is it really worth buying an HD(Xbox)/BluRay(PS3) player if your end
output is only 720i?

Thinking of getting a PC for use as a HTPC. Obviously quiet components are
required, but does it need to be a huge spec?
Was thinking of the lowest spec Core 2 Duo, along with 1gb of dual channel
memory and a large HDD (around 400 gb).
