Any photographers out there - High quality stills viewing

I'm going to buy a projector for TV, Video and viewing of digital SLR
camera images. The latter is important for my photography hobby.
Any photo enthusiasts gone through a selection process recently? Budget
at present is ¡ê3000.

Panasonic SC-PT450 DivX playback issues

I have just bought a Panasonic SC-PT450 home-cinema system
and was told that it would play DivX format files even though I cannot
find anything in the instructions or on the box that state it can,
looking on the www there is evidence that it should, has anyone had

Are Sky+ boxes all the same? Is one better than another?
Does it matter where you get it from (apart from pricewise)?
What size HD is best? I don't imagine we'd have much too much problem
recording over what is already recorded (ie. probably doesn't need to be too
big).

OT: Problem with TV

Its a LG RZ-42PX11. I've had it just over 3 years and it died this
morning. Powers up ok, but no picture, sometimes flashes some lines,
etc, but otherwise the screen stays black.
Has anyone had any experience with these? It's just outside the LG

me. I work for a recycling company and we have recieved a few Barco
monitors. These montitors look like they are still working and it
seems a shame (and crime on the environment) to chuck them.

Brightness problems on Panasonic TX-28ps1

Sorry for longish post ...
bought a used Panasonic a few weeks back (TX-28ps1)...
Seemed ok for the first few days (oh oh!) ...
now on first switching on ... picture shows very bright
-sometimes almost white... if it gets too white it
seems to cause the TV to switch off into standby...
if not then after 10 minut ...
