it.The reviews for the DVD release on Amazon are excellent and with the euro
being good against the dollar,I thought I might chance it!

Just wondering what suppliers people are using these days for R1 DVDs. I
haven't bought any for a little while and used to use primarily Movietyme or
Amazon. However, the Movietyme site seems to be skewed very heavily towards
Blu Ray ( I can't find Hellboy II DVD on the site) and Amazon deliveries are

Need recommendations for upscaling M/R dvd and av amp

Greetings gang,
Its been a while since I posted due to a split up at home :( Looking
for new DVD player and av amp as my old Denon kit had to be left
behind (DVD-1920 & AVR-1803).
Multi Region upscaling DVD player and decent AV amp needed. What's the
latest good budget stuff ?

I am looking at buying a Portable DVD Player.
At the very least it
(i) must be multi-region
(ii) must not screwup on old 4:3 ratio. Most do widescreen and
ultrawidescreen nicely.
Any recommendations?

Has anyone upgraded their home-cinema of late, and if so, have you gone
7.1? If so was it worth it, and if you just don't have a place to mount or
pair of speakers, is it worth upgrading to a HD amp?
I want a new amp, and I want all the new formats, but I just can't
contemplate more speakers in the room. Ha ...
