Rei Yamato knock-offs?

Has anybody seen those Ayanami Rei figures by Yamato on Ebay?
They either seem to be about ¡ê32 (from the US) or ¡ê5 (almost always from
China).
Some have blue bases and some have brown - does anyone know if the cheap
ones are knock-offs? I'm thinking 'yes' at this point.
