Strange wine-glass-like ringing noise 9th feb about 7:30pm, mid-Wales

We were in the house last night, when we heard two periods of ringing,
just like someone was running their finger round a wine glass. About
the frequency of the old close-down tone the on the radio.
Except we live in the middle of no-where. The only thing is that we
are right under the flight path for the training ...
