Another recycling question

As a hearing aid user I get through quite a few batteries - those little
fellas thhat I think contain mercury. The Hearing Aid centres used to take
the old ones and dispose of them, but they don't any more. So I have a
growing collection of old batteries. Anyone got any ideas on how I can
dispose of them safely ...

I don't know what was going on, but police were blocking the road
between the turn off by the railway bridge and the roundabout by the
whitley supermarket. i.e around the new sports centre.
The problem I have when this happens is that I don't know Coventry that

Fire Station & Coventry Apartments

Looks like the old Fire Station in Coventry is finally getting refurbished -
upstairs is going to be a Fusion restautant run by Rois Ali of the Rupali;
downstairs, a wine bar run by the chap who set up "Millsys" in Earlsdon.
Should be good for the new square...
Also the Victoria buildings are being demolish ...
