The Burn Closes Bridge

The Burn Closes Bridge in Wallsend is due for demolition soon.
A new road bridge is to be built - near enough on the same site - to
replace it.
In the meantime, a temporary pedestrian bridge has been built just west
of the old bridge.

are to be fabricated at a drydock on the river and floated down to Howdon.
