Question about the Xbox360 hard drive

So my xbox is currently on its way to germany.
Can I use my hard drive in another 360 and still access all the content on
it?
How would I go about this? Will I have to recover gamertag?

Hi all,
I`ve got 2 XBox 360`s that ideally i`d like to be able to use on the same
gamertag (to allow me to use all purchased games etc) but not at the same
time. Is there any way to do this that doesn`t involve recovering the
gamertag each time I swap over?
