First question, you can eject disk 1 so that the game can install disk 2.
How on earth have they been able to do that? I thought it was impossible
for the 360 to not reset when you ejected the disk. Bet the hackers are all
over the code already.

Should I gamble on a refurbed PS3?

There's a refurbed 60GB PS3 on ebay local to me at the moment for ?¡ê50.
The seller says that he has fixed a YLOD error by fluxing and
reflowing the BGA's on the motherboard, and has tested it over the
last week.
Looking at his ebay history, he recently bought some thermal heatsink
compound remover and a heat gu ...

Very quiet in here today.
Who's getting the new GTA IV DLC? Trailers all look good, and it seems
to be ditching the dark and gritty vibe in favour of a Vice City style
discoland. And jumping out of aircraft with a parachute makes a
comeback. I'm very much excited. And it's out next Thursday!

Looks like I need a spangly GPU for work. Something with a fair bit of grunt -
we're going to be doing GPGPU type stuff with it, so we're more interested in
raw numbers throughput than things like antialiasing or whatever - at around
a couple of hundred quid. I'm right in thinking the only DX11 cards around at

PLAY
Uncharted 2 (PS3)
So very pretty, so very, very pretty. Cinematic gaming has reached a new
level. Even Heavenly Sword and MGS4 don't hold up to this. Gameplay
mostly very solid, although a few very annoying leaps of faith required.
Co-op is fun but insanely hard. Even on easy co-op is way, way harder
...
