Suggestions for KS2 story types - got any?

I'm putting together a package for storytelling at KS2 - I've set up
materials for all the john-rers, but I wanted to set up some more
specific one's too - so I've got dinosaurs (obviously), ponies, ghosts
- what other suggestions can people come up with? I guess I'm looking
for classifications tighter than the jo ...

Are there any tips on how to tell a class to be quiet and to get them
to settle down quickly to work? They are secondary level (ages 11-16).
