What to do after teaching?
Tue, 2 Oct 2007 17:15:54 +0100

I'm not sure about the rules as I couldn't find anything useful on the net.
Last week I had to take a couple of days off work to take my son (Just 7) to
hospital. On removal the leg was very swollen and bruised and subsequently
I took another day off work to look after him as he was having quite a bit
of pain ...

Mon, 24 Sep 2007 19:23:38 -0700
What is the best way for non-Canadian teachers to immigrate to, and
work in, Canada? From my very limited reading of this matter so far,
the immigration authorities seem to require a job offer, the schools
in turn demand proof of eligibility from the licensing Boards and the

After a teacher has just qualified to teach in secondary schools, what
is the best way for them to find a permanent job?
Should they concentrate on vacancies on the local education authority
website?
Should they try the local job centre or recruitment agencies?
Thankyou for your time

Directed time
Mon, 10 Sep 2007 21:29:13 GMT
My school has implemented a change in lunchtime routines in a bid to
make lunchtimes run more smoothly and be more pleasant and sociable
for the children.
The result of this is an "expectation" that teachers will escort their
