bankruptcy of college/university?

I'm writing some essay about the economic and education, and the
differences between North America - Europe.
Does anyone know if there was in a recent past a bankrupt of college a
fully accredited college or university (not diploma mills, this is
another part of my essay) in UK?

Question To The University Of Surrey

A few months ago I received the offer letter from Uni of Surrey in the
field of Internet Computing. I am an overseas students, so having no
concrete ideas about this University (though I have read the brochure

Basic IT skills..we use successmaker here..is there any similar software
that takes pupils through a sequence of integrated packages that will
introduce IT skills?
Also, is there a checklist for basic IT skills?
