My son would like to pursue a doctorate in the UK system. An
explanation of the process and length of study of PhD's, D.Litt, etc.
would be most helpful. He intends to remain in Europe teaching. How
does UK system differ from the US? Thank you.

Hi - If I have a non-honours BSc and a BSc(Hons); in two different
subjects at two different institutions; is it correct to list them
separately as post nominals; or is only the higher award listed?
