Just bought a "Lifedrive", as an update from my Tungsten T.
What a let down!!
Wonder if there is anyone here that is able to give a "qualified" answer (Do
Palm actually read these groups?)

Ipaq 1940 and Mitac 168 socket

Hi,
I've just noticed that the power/data plug that fits my MyGuide 6500XL
(Mitac 168) also fits my iPAQ 1940. Is it possible that the two PC
connection leads that I have for these two machines are interchangable?
It might useful one day if I've left one at home if I could use the
other for both.

Just got a Palm TX but there is no printed manual only a PDF with 176 pages.
Should there be a paper manual??
Also, is there a way of getting MP3 files directly in the memory without
having to use the Rhapsody software?

LifeDrive Frustrations

Hi, I bought one of these a few days ago & I'm getting very frustrated
with it!!
1) It is refusing to connect to my Home WiFi - I just get a connection
failed message, but NO explanation (this is in the same room as my WiFi
Router & I have enabled the MAC info on the Router)

Please help me, I'm at my wits end here.
I bought my Lifedrive in July 05.
It has since staarted to make very loud blipping sounds when playing media
with or without headpones, and also occasionally when it's on other
applications. Smetimes, more frequently than not there is no sound, not even

I've just got a Palm Lifedrive for Christmas as an upgrade from my old
Palm IIIx..... I'm wanting to use it to replace my laptop in meetings
for taking notes and want a good keyboard to use. Two friends have Palm
