BBC iPlayer does not work on Apple computers!
Wed, 1 Oct 2008 06:08:56 +0100
So I missed 'Harry and Paul' on Friday, and also the rerun.
I tried to access the iPlayer (making the unmissable missable) but it said I
had to use Windows. Not impressed.
I can't be bothered will all the hassle of installing VMWare Fusion etc.
This is an outrage. Is anyone planning to let the BBC know we ...

iTunes 'Genius' Feature : anyone happy with it?
Wed, 1 Oct 2008 06:04:34 +0100
I haven't upgraded to iTunes 8 yet, in case it bricks my jailbroken &
unlocked iPhone.
Does anyone like Genius? Does it work well? If you are listening to a movie
soundtrack, say, does it create a playlist with other songs from that movie,
or does it find songs of a similar musical style
How does it compar ...

iPhone skin - for 1st Gen?
Tue, 30 Sep 2008 21:12:41 GMT
Struggling to find a good silicone skin for a 1st gen iPhone. My local CPW(s)
say they've sent most of their 'old' stock back & O2 shops are no better. All
I've found online so far are cheap (looking) ones from random web sites, and
possibly an 'E-Cell' on eBay (although all his current ones seem to be for

Recommendations for an iPhone password app
Tue, 30 Sep 2008 17:17:00 +0100
Can anyone recommend an app for storing passwords? I've tried 1Password
but can't get on with the interface.
I don't need to auto-fill passwords in my browser; I just need to store
them and view them. I'd prefer a PIN or other quick-entry method to get
at them (damn the security). I don't want something tailor ...
