Create bin/cue files?
Sat, 16 Aug 2008 12:49:12 +0100
Can anyone recommend some open source/freeware/extremely-cheap-ware
which will create a bin/cue of an enhanced CD (ie. contains a data
track and audio tracks)? I know Toast can and I do have a
Toast...err...6 license somewhere, but I don't what to have to upgrade
to some Leopard-compatble Toast just to do this ...

Mail without spam

Can anyone recommend a free POP mail server that I can access using mail.app,
and that either doesn't have a spam filter or has one I can turn off?
I've been forwarding stuff to googlemail.com and picking it up with Mail. The
problem is that Google's spam filter is giving too many false positives, and

Large Bluetooth mouse needed...
Fri, 15 Aug 2008 19:43:31 +0100
Reet, I found a full size wireless Apple keyboard on eBay, so I now just
need a mouse.
I've seen the thread about mice, but nothing grabbed my attention. I
really don't like Logitech's latest releases of software, as I've seen
rather a lot of crashes with it.
I don't mind the Apple mice, but still find them a ...

Browser for 68k Mac
Fri, 15 Aug 2008 12:48:18 +0100
I've dug out the old Colour Classic running OS7 to sit in our reception
and looking quaint and looping a series of images. I've got a neat
little animated gif and a very simple (nothing in it except the gif!)
webpage to do this, but I can't find a browser to show it.
Anyone help me out here?

OT-ish: UMPCs
Fri, 15 Aug 2008 12:23:58 +0100

off this trend - the OQO machines.
Just got an email from Expansys, as they've knocked ¡ê100 off the price
of an OQO Model 01+, which makes it a bit of a bargain now.
