Dell D 600 lan problem

When I switch on my Dell D600, 4 times out of 5 it won't find the onboard
lan controller, sometimes the bios says it is switched off, and sometimes it
is switched on. Any suggestions how I can overcome this and get it to always
to see the onboard lan?

As I'm sure you are all aware, it's a nightmare when trying to
buy computors etc.
For my first laptop is the TOSHIBA EQUIUM A200-1VO Laptop OK, or is the
processor already outdated?

aspire 3694 additional memory

I want to increase the ram of our aspire 3694 laptop because vista makes it
run so slowly. As a newby I am wondering if this is something I can do
myself. I removed the memory cover and couldn't see an obvious place to put

I currently use an Acer standard 17" TFT monitor on my Toshiba
Sat Pro laptop. My laptop has a standard 15"screen that I do not
use.
Can I updgrade my VGA monitor to a 22" WIDESCREEN TFT monitor ?
Will my Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset cope
and use the whole screen ?
