how do i swap hard drive on ibm x31

hi....i have an x31 with a cdrw.....it has a 40 gb hd....i have a
spare 80 gh hd i would like to put on.......x31 dosnt restore disks as
xp op is on the hard drive.....i dont have any info i need to save but
how do i get the xp os onto the new hd so it will boot

Hi, my Sony Vaio laptop gave an error message during boot up, and I cannot
start Windows at all. I need the system recovery CD/DVD to re-install the
original setup from the hidden partition in the hard drive.
Can anyone who owns a Sony Vaio VGN-BX series make me a set of Recovery

my HP laptop can't see the wireless net, and the light of the wifi board

I have an IBM/Lenovo X31 (XP Pro) and a LaCie external CD/DVD drive.
Recently, I bought a mobile/PDA (an O2 XDA). But when I attempted
to install Microsoft's software to talk to the PDA, the install did
not work, and now the laptop will no longer use the CD drive.

Hi all
WAiting for a new Dell lappy to be delivered and the electronic packing slip
states the carrier is WWI
Now last time a mate had a Dell PC delivered a few years ago it was an
unheard of courier.
Anybody got any ideas who Dell use these days to deliver Laptops
