Moving to FC11 on new laptop

I have installed FC11 on my new laptop. Every thing looks OK. I'm trying
to install the software which I need to use on the system. I get the
following error message:-

MIDI sound file converters

I picked up a recommendation for TiMidity on the WINE mailing list,
looked at it (it seems OK) but found that its not supported by Fedora
(i.e. not a mainstream package or pert of extras). It doesn't seem to be
in rpmfusion either.
So, is this worthwhile the download and build time or is there a better
MIDI ...
