Gnome Sound Recorder - where ?

Hi - Centos 5.3/Gnome
AIUI this should be in Applications/Sound & Video/Media but despite having
gnome-media-2.16.1-3 as part of the Centos package, Sound Recorder doesn't
appear anywhere and it's not a question of menu setup, it's simply not available
to select.
For some reason no one in Centos support h ...
