Hello,
I've a Dell 22" TFT which has packed in. All 5 lights on the front lit up
and remained on for a period of a week or so.
Now the screen is on displaying 'No Signal', but it doesn't seem to accept
any input, and the buttons aren't functioning.
Can anyone recommend a good repairer of these things arou ...

Merging two partitions into one

What is the best way of merging two partitions (C: system and D: data) into
one? Is Sysmantec Partition Magic the best package to use or are there any
others that I should consider?
Does Partition Magic preserve all the data on both partitions? I have
everything backed up to external HDD in case of disasters, ...

Suspend/Block Internet Access

Looking for a simple programme to block or suspend access to
the Internet temporarily, and preferably with one mouse-click.
Similar to Zone Alarm's "Internet Lock" feature.
I've upgraded to AVG 8 which doesn't appear to have such
a facility.

good movie player

I have dowloaded various movies and when I try to play them on Windows media
player some play only in black and white and some have no sound can anyone
recommend a good player that I can download that will play all my movies.

Source of mains lead - IEC C14 male to UK mains socket

Does anyone know of a source of mains leads with an IEC C14 *male* connector
on one end and a UK mains socket (or distribution block with several UK
sockets) on the other end?
This is to allow equipment with a UK mains plug (eg wall-wart power supply)
to be connected to a UPS which only has IEC C13 outputs.
