P.C. or not P.C. ?
Mon, 21 Apr 2008 20:34:06 GMT
I wonder that some bright spark in an ISPs head office somewhere has
not yet objected to the term "Webmaster"......(not politically correct, you
see)
I suppose it's only a matter of time before the term becomes "website
administrator"
or something like that.......especially in government or local authority

Fireman 2 Burning software
Sun, 10 Feb 2008 16:50:09 +0000
Has anyone come across this? Serif are offering it at ¡ê9-99 and it might
just get some one out of a bit of a spot.
As you will be aware, when you put service pack 2 onto an XP machine,
Nero 6 will not burn anymore. As he and I only have Nero 6. something or

Sat, 9 Feb 2008 13:27:53 -0000
What could cause a Vista Home Premium PC to run very slowly and with

- loads of free disk space (at least 50 GB)

send mail. I did use Hotmail until recently, but the website will not
load anymore. I phoned my ISP, 'Virgin Media' (formerly NTL), and got
a 'ntlworld.com' address, which is sup ...

Speeding up slow XP PCs - suggested remedies when you've tried the obvious
Wed, 6 Feb 2008 09:21:22 -0000
When a Windows XP runs painfully slowly, there are lots of magazine articles
which suggest the same old things to try: uninstall programs that aren't
needed; scan for viruses and spyware using AdAware and/or Spybot; add more
memory; defrag hard disk; remove any unnecessary programs from All Programs

How do I print the Greek characters used as symbols for electrical

Hi,
I'm looking for a way to display my PC on a TV to watch movies and such. My
