VB Scripts

My VB Scripts used to run simply by invoking the script filename.
They no longer do, instead they open the script file in Notepad.
To run the scripts I have to invoke them as a parameter to a
'cscript' command.
How do I get back to the previous situation?

"Device locked" on Windows Vista

Help with open office

I've just downloaded Open Office and when I open 'Writer', it always seems
to open in the Print layout view. I've tried to turn it off but on reopening
it, the same view reappears.
Is this just an unchangeable default, or am I a dum dum?

Strange colour problem

I've got an Aries laptop model 8575 with a strange problem. When booting up
the screen is a horrible green colour which seems to shimmer. Once booted
into windows everything appears normal appart from sometimes a black area
will appear as this horrible green colour. If I open a dos box the

Gateway GM5074b with Windows Vista, only to find that my current ADSL modem
(BT Voyager 105) is incompatible with Vista.

Is Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express 6 still available for download?

I need to rebuild an old Windows Me PC (it crashes many times when IE
displays a web-page while connected using dial-up). The rebuild disk
restores it to a state with IE5 and OE5. Is it still possible to download
the exe files to upgrade this to IE/OE6? Alternatively, will IE 7 run on Me
with 128MB RAM?
