Faulty on-board sound device?

I have recently replaced an old mother board with an ASUS A8V-VMSE. The OS
is Windows XP Home. The sound device is Realtek HD Audio which is said to be
working correctly (Audio Settings in Control Panel).

At present I download my e-mails from my ISP with his e-mail address that is
mine into my Outlook Express and its files.
Now I have one of these other e-mails which does not identify me easily as
the ISP ones. Now it looks as if MSN/Yahoo systems are meant to be used

Question about VPN passthrough

Hello - does anyone out there know the answer to this? We have a
netgear router, and thir support people say it will not llet users
connect to a VPN on the other side of it because it does not support
GRE 47 passthrough. However, the datasheet for the router (DG834G)

Formatting a DVD

How can I format a DVD+RW in Windows XP?
I must have done it before as I have used DVD+RW for a scratch
data disc, but I cannot remember how I did it now.
(I realise this means of writing data is considered to be rather
unreliable, but it worked perfectly for me last time and +RWs are
cheaper than DV ...

This has got to be a daft question but I'm damned if I can see what's
causing it...
If I enter a number like "23" into a cell (ie without the quotes), it
transates on screen to "0.0023" unless I specifically enter it as "23.0".
This is for a cell formatted as "General" "Number" or "Currency", but
not as "T ...
