Getting Rid of Ubuntu

After putting Ubuntu on a machine with two hard discs I now want
to go back to either Windows '98SE or XP.
Booting from a '98SE floppy with CD support, the system cannot
find the DVD drive fitted, nor will the system boot from by selecting
it as the first boot option.
