AVG 7.5 used to work with older operating systems such as XP pre-SP2 and ME.
But that's finally gone end-of-life and no more virus definitions are being
produced for it. AVG 8.x won't work on ME.
I know someone who has an ME PC and wants to protect it as cheaply as
possible. She can't afford to ditch the PC, ...

strange happenings with outlook depressed

We both use btopenworld on two differnt computers and ocasionally, we
get a lock out. What happens is a spam comes into the servers inbox and
prevents us from down loading mail. Last few days, the wife's computer
has hung up at 98% of the first message being down loaded. I get around
this by going direct to BT ...

I can't set my keyboard up to UK. I did an xp pro re install a couple of
weeks ago and some aspects of my computer are not working right. This is
the most anoying one. The @ key is above the number 2 key.
How can I change this?
