Extending BT Business Hub

The standard BT Business HUb has just 4 fixed ethernet ports
BT say that if I want more fixed connections they could supply and
configure a 2nd Hub However by simply connecting multi port switch to
the hub and taking PC's from there as well I have more connection
options

I've got an external building to which i've previously run a length of
CAT5 cable.
It is my understanding, that of the 8 wires within, only a few are
actually used, despite all being connected....?
Is it possible to connect these 'spare' wires to a second terminal block
in the same faceplate to facilitat ...

Was in an XBOX Live game last night and one of the players, from the UK, was
going on about hosting the game. He said that he rang his ISP, informed them
that he did a lot of hosting and therefore needed a faster upload speed.

I have an IBM R50e laptop which has a Centrino chipset. I have a Netgear
WN802T WAP, which has just been replaced under warranty.
The laptop was always slow to connect to the WAP (the SSID is hidden and I
use WPA TKIP security) and it's just as bad with the replacement.

Odd network problem

I run a mixed wired / wireless network- several PCs to a switched hub. One
of the cables seems to have developed a fault. If any PC is connect to
the switched-hub via this cable, the OTHER PCs on the network display a
"network cable unplugged" warning, although the various activity LEDs still
indicate all is well ...
