Novatech motherbaord bundles

Who makes novatech motherboards as used in their motherboard bundles...
Ive stuck with Abit last two times but these bundles are keenly priced
Are they poor (like pc chips?)
what about HSF - will it sound like a helicopter ? ...

Large capacity disks - usb only or with psu is better?

I'm thinking of getting a large (1T) capacity disc drive for backup
storage. I use acronis which works just fine but at the moment with
plugin caddy IDE drives. These are starting to play up with connector
problems.
Is see there are two options for the 1T drives - usb only (ie get's it
power from the usb2 port) a ...

Unmountable_Boot_Volume

On a reboot my hard drive made some strange beeps and I got a blue screen
with 0X000000ED Unmountable_Boot_Volume. So now the PC wont boot with that
drive. I connected the drive up via USB and it is now reading as RAW, can I
repair this or do I need to try and recover the files?

email client. Admittedly this is an old netscape email client, but I like it.
Aha, but I can get it via webmail facility by my ISP. Sure enough the ticket
is on my webmail. I can choose to open it here in HTML. Opening in HTML and

How to set up a Advent Notebook advice please ?

Got an Advent Notebook 4211-B, am wondering how to reformat, it has USB and
SD Card slot only, is there a simple program i can use to format a memory
stick and add the XP home set up files to make it bootable please ?
I dont have a USB cd-rom, but do have USB hard drives.
Any suggestions appreciated.
