One of my PCs has two IDE HDDs. Occasionally I cannot access anything from
the second HDD.
Running gparted from linux on the first HDD does not recognise the existence
of the second HDD.
Rebooting and going to bios setup I see the second HDD (primary slave) as
being recognised as 397Gb

I have recently installed a PCI SATA card into my machine. The card has 2
SATA ports and an IDE port. The card is supposed to have SATA 150 and UDMA
100/133. I have plugged in various drives and the OS is reporting 150 SATA

I am looking into something like this:

Sun, 24 Jan 2010 10:23:35 +0000
Hi,
Does anyone have an ASUS P5Q Pro driver disc that they can upload a disc
image of? Or even one they can send to me (in UK) so I can clone it and send
back?
Cheers!

laptop drives
Fri, 22 Jan 2010 02:51:08 -0800 (PST)

drives in the 160Gb to 250Gb range.
The only ones in the larger size seem to be Western Digital Caviar
