Based on another thread on here, I wondered, out of interest, wether anybody
else has noticed that a drive thats been running for years fine, say, in a
horizontal plane, makes a different noise when mounted vertically in a
different system, and dies quickly?.

Slightly off topic but I usually get better replies in here than other

In among some PC's I've bought are 2 Formac TFT monitors. One is 21" with a
DVI connector the other is 17" with a connector thats like a DVI but
different.
The 21" powers up and when connected to a PC works but seems to have all ...
