Can't access my favourite website     Sat, 30 Sep 2006 10:00:43 +0100
If anyone's about this morning, could you just try a quick test to see if you can access this website please. I've never had problems with it before, but this morning it is permanently unavailable here. Don't know whether it is a Virgin issue or perhaps a routing problem after last night's electrical storms. ...

Bush Joke     Sun, 24 Sep 2006 09:35:21 GMT
Just been sent this and hope you will find it as amusing as I did. Before the 2001 inauguration of George Bush, he was invited to a get-acquainted tour of the White House. After drinking several glasses of iced tea, he asked Bill Clinton if he could use his personal bathroom. When he entered Clinton's priva ...

Spammers are Total Morons     Thu, 21 Sep 2006 18:05:18 GMT
Yes, I know it's stating the obvious but when you get an email meant to look as if it's from Barclays Bank with "Barclays bank: SPECIAL ANNOUNCE" as the header it's going to fool no one. And when the To: address is to someone I've never heard of why do they bother? If anyone responds to such a message they dese ...

Viirgin Email Spam Increasing ?     Wed, 20 Sep 2006 19:35:50 GMT
Has anyone else seen the spam volume shoot up since the weekend when the email was down on Sat 16th Sept? I suspect they have pulled their spam filters (cost?). Its more work for the spam rule filters here but much of it could have been filtered by the ISP. Something has happened. ...

MAC key     Wed, 01 Mar 2006 14:52:39 GMT
You might know that you can change between Broadband suppliers without interruption using a MAC key which you should get from the provider you are leaving. However Virgin is not party to a list of providers I checked. Does anyone know whether they will do this? I have emailed them to no avail (so far) -- ...
