Debit card chargeback, company gone bust

I have just paid for a hotel using my debit card (Halifax Visa), and the
firm I booked it with (go2spain.co.uk) have just gone under. They have not
paid for my hotel, so I have had to rebook and pay again, loosing the
payment I have made to go2spain.

Compensation case going to court after 3 years

Just over 3 years ago I had a fairly serious motorbike accident (I've
learned I fly well, but landing's need some practice!)
After initially trying to blame me, the other guy accepted liability
(given the mass of witness statements in my favour, he had little
